From under the cover of light, uncomfortable sleep, she hears puttering but thinks nothing of it, only sighing softly and releasing it again while she drifts. Still, it means that when she hears Jack's voice, it doesn't startle her, but weaves through the fabric of her half-dream.

Ah, she thinks, still dream-bound. It was Jack doing the puttering.

Several long moments pass and she's vaguely aware there's something she needs to do to complete this thought, but it escapes her, and asleep she remains.
