Martha Jones

As both Aquarius and fiercely independent personality, all of Martha's spaces tend toward minimalist, airy, with big windows and lots of light, functionality with splashes of color, and often plants and water features. She dislikes clutter, but still aims for inviting within her clean lines and modern aesthetic. Think a very personalized Zen.

Martha's bedroom

Wooden walls and floors with a wrap-around window that rotates images of starfields, spacescapes, sunrises, and sunsets. On a wall, off to the side of the bed opposite the window, hangs a single blue and copper abstract painting and in various spaces against walls and hanging from the ceiling are various air plants. The bed itself is king-sized, low to the ground on a wood slat platform with big fluffy duvet and pillows most often white with a throw blanket and accent pillows that match the abstract painting, but sometimes in the colors of the painting. Opposite the bed is another bank of windows with a floating shelf that doubles as a desk and bears a pitcher fountain. There is a comfortable stool and speakers beneath it. Several woven baskets with plants dot the well-lit room.

Martha and Ten
